Formerly known as the "Instant Framer", McMillen's was founded in 1982 as a "do-it-yourself" picture framing shop on the outskirts of downtown Traverse City, MI. Its current owner, Todd McMillen, purchased the opportunity in 1988 after attending Kendal School of Design in the field of Graphic Communications, a very fitting degree for the occupation he was about to embark upon.
